Three utility procurements connected to Dholera SIR are currently live, per procurement monitoring:
- 50 MLD SWRO desalination project — approximately ₹1,049 crore — under tender: the first operational-scale desalination plant, feeding industrial water independent of the monsoon.
- 20 MLD CETP tender — approximately ₹270.22 crore: the common effluent treatment plant for the activation area’s industrial units; the latest corrigendum moved bid submission/opening to 23 September 2026.
- Exploratory/observation well tender in the Dholera block for aquifer testing and water-quality assessment — closing 30 September 2026, bid opening 1 October.
Why early signals matter
Why it matters to Dholera: utility tenders are construction signals in disguise — a tender means budget, engineering and a schedule. The desalination and CETP procurements are the physical build-out of the water layer that the fab, data centres and factories will depend on.
