What is Dholera?
Dholera is a region in Gujarat being planned and developed through a large industrial and urban framework. It is associated with the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor and the Dholera Special Investment Region, or DSIR.
The region is not one single plot, one single company or one finished city. It includes an existing rural and coastal landscape, planned urban areas, industrial zones, trunk infrastructure and projects at different stages.
Three words to keep separate

What is planned versus what exists?
Dholera’s public story combines long-range master planning with current construction, operating services, announcements and future targets. These categories should not be blended. A road under construction is different from an operating route. An announced factory is different from production. A zoning plan is different from an available plot.
Why does the region matter?
Dholera is being positioned around advanced manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure and a planned urban system. Its significance depends on more than one headline project: power, water, transport, land administration, environmental safeguards, skills and supplier networks all have to work together.
That is why this site moves from the simple map to the plan, then to infrastructure and industries. Context makes the individual claims easier to evaluate.
