In August 2020, the Times of India reported that work on the Ahmedabad–Dholera expressway was set to begin — the 108 km corridor designed to cut travel time between Ahmedabad and Dholera to under 45 minutes.
Why it matters to Dholera: connectivity is the first question every investor asks. The expressway is the answer — linking the SIR to Gujarat’s largest city, its airport and its talent pool as if they were neighbours.
What came next: foundation-stone kick-off in January 2021, a fast-track order in 2023, and continued progress through the activation-area build-out.
